Who doesn’t????\n\nI am pleased to say that we have been approached by the Ontario PD to take part of a Thank You Cruise\, on Wednesday\, May 27th. at 9am.\nTravel will be from Ontario PD to Kaiser Hospital – Ontario then on to San Antonio Hospital in Upland\, back to Ontario PD.\n\nWe can all meet up at Galaxy Burgers\, 2150 S Archibald Ave.\, on the North/West the corner of  Archibald Ave and Philadelphia St. by 8:45am so we can all go to the Police Dept. as a group.\nBring your radios.\n\nThe E-Board has approved this cruise\, with precautions of course\, designated not only by us but by the PD and Hospitals.\nThe precautions are to remain in your cars and it is MANDATORY to wear masks at the Hospitals. \n\nThere will be no food or gatherings.\n\n\nYou are to arrive at the Ontario PD Parking Lot (2500 S. Archibald\, Ontario – just south of the 60) around 9:00 am. Cruise would leave at 9:30\, going to and around Kaiser\, on to and around San Antonio\, then cruise Euclid back to Ontario PD.\n\n\nThere are 3 other car clubs (not Corvettes) involved and so they wish to keep a limited number of cars per club. At this time\, the FIRST 12 CARS TO SIGN UP ARE GUARANTEED a slot in the procession. Any more than 12 will be considered as well\, we just have to wait and see. It will depend on the overall response from all clubs.\n\n\nWe have a deadline of Monday\, May 25 by 5:00 pm. to let the Ontario PD know how may cars will be participating.\nWe will be monitoring the website for responses and we’ll take it from there.\n\n\nThank you so much for everyone’s patience during these past couple of months. Little by little we will get to do things together again.

SUMMARY:USS IOWA\, Harbor Cruise and Lunch
DESCRIPTION:Thanks to Brent and Melonee they are planning a trip on November 4th to the USS IOWA for the club.   There will be a harbor cruise and lunch also. \nMeet at 7:30 at the Costco parking lot\, 4th Street and I-15\, Ontario. We’ll caravan down. We’ll have a drivers meeting at 7:45 and head out at 8:00. \nWe should arrive at approximately 9:30-9:45 at the USS IOWA. The tour will being at approximately 10:00 am on November 4. It lasts approximately 1 1/2 – 2 hours. Cost is $13.50 per person (over 62 years young) or $16.50 if under 62. \nIf there are any issues with climbing stairs\, etc.\, arrangements can be made. I would need to know ahead of time. Everyone will purchase their own tickets there. We will have a special area for our cars. \nLunch: Lunch will be at the Acapulco Restaurant\, which is fairly close by. We will have a buffet lunch at approximately $20 per person. \nHarbor Cruise: We will cruise the harbor after lunch\, leaving from Ports of Call. Over 62 years young\, the price will be $8. Under 62\, $12. This is approximately 45 minute harbor tour\, showing the outside of the USS Iowa from the water and other special spots within the harbor. Again\, we’ll buy our own tickets when we arrive. \n  \n  \n  \n
