DESCRIPTION:Doug and Paul would like to invite everyone to our social evening out with the big kids for September.  We have selected Fuddruckers Ontario\, since they have been so good to the club over the last few years and visits. \nThe restaurant is going to give us the back room so we have room for 30 or 40 people. We have told them we’ll have dinner at 6pm\, try not to get there at 4:30 or 5 pm\, give them a chance to get ready for us. 🙂 \nPlease sign up so we can give them a head count – thanks and look forward to seeing you next week

DESCRIPTION:Save the Date for this fun day.This is a fundraiser for the Painted Turtle and we will also be drawing the raffle tickets for the 8 items we are giving away. \nBring your Corvette to do what we bought them for…To Drive…. \nWe will be staring at Logan’s Roadhouse\, 13480 Baseline Ave.  Fontana\, CA 92336\, (Baseline and the I15). \nWe will be doing some driving on Route 66 then hitting the mountains for a little twisty fun. We will be stopping in Big Bear for lunch and maybe some shopping for the women. Afterwards we will be heading to Hanger 24 in Redlands for a cool beer or maybe just a root beer.  This should be a great day of fun and doing what we like best\, driving our Vettes. \nDrivers Meeting 9:45am \nLeaving at 10am

SUMMARY:The Painted Turtle - Pine Wood Derby Races for Hemophilia Kids
DESCRIPTION:Since 2004 PVCA has been supporting The Painted Turtle http://www.ThePaintedTurtle.org through various events from car shows to night at the races.   For the last few years the club has been helping with the pine wood derby races that the kids at camp have each year.   We have donated trophies and other items to the kids and the camp.   But the main event is we take anywhere from 10 to 12 cars up to the camp and have lunch with the kids and the counselors then we let the kids look at and sit in our cars.  And you can bet they all find the horn sooner or later. \nThis year the camp have asked us back to help again.   We will meet (place to be determined) about 9am then take the ride up to Lake Hughes area where the camp is located.   We’ll have lunch with the kids and enjoy their lunch time activities.    After lunch we’ll get a tour of the camp.  Then head over to our cars so we can open them up during the racing.  We’ll help do some judging of the best design\, etc. \nWe normally finish up about 3:30 and head home. \nPlease save the date and time \nPlease remember no pictures of the kids are allowed\, pictures of the camp and the grounds are permitted \n
