SUMMARY:Run to Port of Hueneme
DESCRIPTION:The run includes a presentation as well as a tour of the Port of Hueneme. \nThe Port of Hueneme is a leading U.S. port that has a niche market for the import of autos and fresh produce worldwide. General cargo\, bulk liquids and fish also come in and out of the port.  \nFollowing the tour we will head to Rich and Jan Royall’s home for lunch.  \nHotel: Last year a few people spent the night in the area. The Holiday Inn Express in Pt. Hueneme is offering us a rate of $155 per night. They waived the 2-night minimum requirement for our group. Not only does the hotel provide a complimentary breakfast but a guest reception of beer and wine from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday. DESCRIPTION:The club has had a request from Etiwanda High School to provide 7 Corvettes for their Homecoming Game on September 13\, 2019.  As you know we like to have one extra car just in case someone is stuck at work or is held up in traffic.   So the request is for a total of 8 cars.  If you want to have a night out then anyone is welcome to join us. \nWe will pre-stage at Logan’s Roadhouse at 6:30\, drivers meeting at 6:45 then proceed to Etiwanda HS for the game. \nLogan’s Roadhouse is located at 13480 Baseline Ave\, Fontana\, CA 92336.   They are at the the 15 Freeway and Baseline. \nAfter the game we will go back to Logan’s Roadhouse for dinner if you so which. Please add a few extra minutes of travel time because the 60 fwy can be a bear sometimes.
