DESCRIPTION:Glendora High School has asked for 8 Corvettes for their Homecoming Parade on Friday Oct. 11th. 2019.  Therefore I’m asking for 9 (8+1) Corvettes.  They have asked us to be there at 3:00 pm for staging. \nWe will pre-stage at the Denny’s restaurant on the southeast corner of S. Grand Ave. and W. Baseline Rd. at 2:30pm\, drivers meeting at 2:45pm then proceed to the parade staging area by 3:00pm. Take the 210 Freeway west to Grand Ave. you will exit the Freeway onto W. DESCRIPTION:I have received a request from Heidi MacPherson of Lutheran HS for 4 Corvettes for there Homecoming game on Saturday Oct. 12\, 2019 at 11:00 am. This is a small HS therefor they have the old type of track. The cars might get a little dusty but they appreciate our being there just as much as the larger HS do\, if not more.\n\nWe will pre stage behind the Panera Bread (on the Fruit St. side) on the corner of Foothill Blvd. and Fruit St. at 10:45 am. Take the 210 Frwy  west to Fruit St. turn left (going South) on Fruit St. to Foothill Blvd. We will then leave to be at the school by 11:00 am. which is just about a block away. After the Homecoming ceremonies we will line the Corvettes up for pictures.\n\nSince I’ll be one of the cars I’ll just need three more. Please keep an eye on our calendar to sign up. Thank you.

DESCRIPTION:We are organizing a Saturday evening out at Centerstage in Fontana (corner of Sierra and Arrow – next to the Camber of Commerce Building).   The club used to do a couple of events a year at Centerstage\, even a couple of our Christmas parties.   Anyway\, they have contacted us and are inviting us for a night out that includes dinner\, the show and for those that can or want some dancing.   Below is a brief description. \nWe need a minimum of 5 couples or 10 people\, the price is $49.95 plus tax and tip per person.   Glenda and I are working on this together\, seems Glenda helped make costumes.  Sue and I ran into Jennifer and Todd (owners of Centerstage) at the C8 Reveal. \nIf you are interested please signup\, so we can get a tentative head count to make sure we can meet the minimum. \n \nTake a journey back in time to the 1950’s when Bobby Darin and Frank Sinatra ruled the airwaves and the great Supper Clubs ruled the night. Every Saturday night\, the house was packed with the sounds of the Big Band coming from the stage\, Martinis toasting at the tables\, and guests dancing ’til dawn. Our brand new SATURDAY NIGHT SUPPER CLUB will transport you back in time to when servers dressed in tuxedos\, Martinis and Manhattans were served with flair\, and you didn’t just watch the show\, you took to the dance floor when the main headline act was through. \nEach night will feature a different SPECIAL GUEST ARTIST alongside Todd Vigiletti and the Stargazer Orchestra. After the show is complete\, the dance floor will open to all guests for Big Band Music and Swing Dancing. \nNote: The ticket price for this event includes the main show and dancing after the main show. DESCRIPTION:San Dimas is having a Holiday Parade and has requested two cars. \nOne of you will be driving our local State Senator\, Anthony Portintino\,  and the other will be driving the Grand Marshall (whoever that is).  The Historical Society has opted for a jeep. \nThe parade has a new route this year.  We will be starting at Civic Center Park\, just behind City Hall. The park is between First Street on the north and Second Street on the south and Iglesia Street on the west. The best way in is off of Walnut\, which is just east of the park \nThe check-in time is 3:00pm and the parade will start at 4:00pm. The parade route runs from City Hall through the downtown\, about ½ mile.
