DESCRIPTION:The Route 66 tour is on. We will leave Saturday\, June 17th\, and boogie to Chicago using the Interstate. We figure it will take us six days to get to Chicago and then we will spend a couple of days touring the “Second City” with Dave and Kimberly who lived there for 15 years. Then we will start heading home on June 24th\, enjoying as much of the original highway as we can find. DESCRIPTION:PVCA’s general membership meetings are held at the Elk’s Lodge in Ontario.  1150 W. 4th St\, Ontario\, 91762. (So. of the 10 Fwy and West of Mountain Ave. Meeting are held on the 2nd Tuesday of every Month with a start time of 7:00 PM. Come early if you want at the Elk’s Lodge for an excellent Taco Tuesday’s meal.  Restaurant and bar are cash only.   Please sign up for Taco Tuesday separately if you plan on eating so we know how many members will be there for dinner and the Elk’s can properly plan staff and food.

DESCRIPTION:How about a photo opportunity in front of the world famous SR-71 \n  \nOr pick one of the other planes or helicopters on the grounds of the museum and get that once in a lifetime photo that makes a perfect way to finish off your man cave or garage! \nJoin us June 11 at 11am at Logan’s Roadhouse at Baseline and the 15 FWY for driver’s meeting and then we will head down to March Air Force Museum for a private tour of the facility and photo opportunities of your car with the planes.   To top it off we’ll have a BBQ lunch and hang out in the hangers\, if you want to stick around. \nThis is a family event so family are welcome\, club member cars only on the flight line for photos with a plane. \nThere will be an entry fee to the museum\, and a cost of the BBQ\, but we ask all members consider a donation to the museum for the continued support of the museum. \nPlease bring your folding chairs.   If you want to help please contact Mikey D. \nAdmission and flight line photos $50.00 per car \nPhotos in the SR-71 hangar $25.00 per car \nLunch $10.00 per person \nGlossy 18″ X 24″ prints – each.  Will be printed by Paul C. for $25.00 which will be donated to the museum.  Use your own camera or have Paul take the shot for you.   Use a high resolution camera\, low res photos won’t look good blown up to 18″ X 24″ \nWatch for ads from Michael’s for their buy 1 get one free sale on frames\, or 40% to 60% off. \nBecause we cannot start the photos with the SR-71 until 5 pm\, when the museum closes\, we will meet to 11:00 am at Logan’s Roadhouse\, drive to the museum and enjoy our BBQ lunch.  After lunch we can take the flight line photos as we did on our first photo visit. \nIf you want to come down a little later for a late afternoon photo or just your photo with the SR-71 that is fine. \nFor those of you who unfamiliar with the museum’s heritage aircraft\, go to: www.marchfield.org click “aircraft” and find the plane that will look next to your Corvette!  If you have any questions please send them. DESCRIPTION:Joins at Rotolo Chevrolet for their summer cruise nights\, muscle cars\, trucks\, hot rods and Corvettes.   Corvettes will park in the street until about 5:10 at which time we will be pulled in and parked along the side of the Service Department Driveway.  We have to stay on the street until 5 pm when the Service Department closes and all cars are out of the way. \nJoin us for some fun socializing\, some tacos and ice cream if you are so inclined. \nRemember to register your car for the engine give away (done at the October Cruise night) and the other raffles gift. \nThe fee is free to everyone.   You pay for your own food and ice cream.  And don’t forget the 50/50 drawing.

DESCRIPTION:The club has been asked to supply cars for the Miss Fontana Queen and her court as well as the various VIP in the parade.  Typically they need from 15 to 18 cars.  All cars are welcome and will be in the parade.  T-Tops and convertibles will be used for the VIPs and Miss Fontana and her court.  Any Corvettes with fixed roofs will represent PVCA in the parade. \nWe will meet at Rotolo Chevrolet at 8:30 and then head down to the staging area at Sierra and Arrow.   Please remember that the city has a Marathon that is run on Sierra Ave the day of the parade\, so please get off of the freeway at Citrus as Sierra will be closed. \nthe parade gets started at 11am \nAfter the parade we will meet for lunch at Applebees Fontana (North of the 210 Freeway at Sierra Ave and Sierra Lakes in the Lowes Parking lot)\, so if you can please join us \n  \n  \n
