SUMMARY:Chaffey High School - Winter Slam
DESCRIPTION:Chaffey High School has invited the PVCA to participate with them in there “Winter Slam” game. This is a flag football game between the Junior and Senior girls for the school bragging rights. At halftime instead of the Queen and her Princess we will be escorting the King and his five Knights of the “Round Table” onto the field of which one will then be crowned as the new King. \nIt will be held on Friday February 8th. They are requesting 6 Corvettes so I’ll need 6 Corvettes +1(I will be the +1 as the back up car). We will pre-stage behind the B of A on the SW corner of Foothill and Euclid at 6:15 PM a quick drivers meeting at 6:30 PM then proceed to Chaffey High to arrive by 6:40 PM. We should be done by 7:45 PM of which we could go back to COCO’s for a bite to eat if you like.

DESCRIPTION:THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED\,  I WILL RESCHEDULE SOON. \nForest Lawn Memorial Park\, Hollywood Hills 6300 Forest Lawn Drive Los Angeles \nLet’s celebrate Oscar weekend by remembering some of our favorite Stars. Forest Lawn in Hollywood Hills overlooks Disney Studios\, Universal Studios\, & Warner Bros. The park is huge with acres of lush landscaped rolling green hills and beautiful views. The emphasis here is on old-fashioned patriotism with towering statues of American Presidents and replicas of historic\, Revolution-era churches. The Court of Liberty features statues of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson and the Birth of Liberty Mosaic\, it is the largest historical mosaic in the United States.  It is composed of ten million pieces of Venetian glass and depicts twenty-five scenes from early America from 1619-1787. You may want to bring your cameras for the views. \nThere are many notable stars to be found Bette Davis\, Telly Savales\, Liberace\, John Ritter\, Gene Autry\, Sandra Dee\, Lou Rawls\, Rod Steiger\, Isabel Sanford\, Jerry Buss\, David Carradine\, Andy Gibb\, Stan Laurel\, Ricky Nelson\, Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher just to name a few. We will be walking and following a map of some of these stars resting places so wear something warm and comfortable shoes.  Those of us brave souls will be leaving around 3pm to continue our day with the Paranormal Night at March Air Museum. I will leave the map for anyone that wants to stay and see the sunset.
