Who doesn’t????\n\nI am pleased to say that we have been approached by the Ontario PD to take part of a Thank You Cruise\, on Wednesday\, May 27th. at 9am.\nTravel will be from Ontario PD to Kaiser Hospital – Ontario then on to San Antonio Hospital in Upland\, back to Ontario PD.\n\nWe can all meet up at Galaxy Burgers\, 2150 S Archibald Ave.\, on the North/West the corner of  Archibald Ave and Philadelphia St. by 8:45am so we can all go to the Police Dept. as a group.\nBring your radios.\n\nThe E-Board has approved this cruise\, with precautions of course\, designated not only by us but by the PD and Hospitals.\nThe precautions are to remain in your cars and it is MANDATORY to wear masks at the Hospitals. \n\nThere will be no food or gatherings.\n\n\nYou are to arrive at the Ontario PD Parking Lot (2500 S. Archibald\, Ontario – just south of the 60) around 9:00 am. Cruise would leave at 9:30\, going to and around Kaiser\, on to and around San Antonio\, then cruise Euclid back to Ontario PD.\n\n\nThere are 3 other car clubs (not Corvettes) involved and so they wish to keep a limited number of cars per club. At this time\, the FIRST 12 CARS TO SIGN UP ARE GUARANTEED a slot in the procession. Any more than 12 will be considered as well\, we just have to wait and see. It will depend on the overall response from all clubs.\n\n\nWe have a deadline of Monday\, May 25 by 5:00 pm. to let the Ontario PD know how may cars will be participating.\nWe will be monitoring the website for responses and we’ll take it from there.\n\n\nThank you so much for everyone’s patience during these past couple of months. DESCRIPTION:San Dimas is having a Holiday Parade and has requested two cars. \nOne of you will be driving our local State Senator\, Anthony Portintino\,  and the other will be driving the Grand Marshall (whoever that is).  The Historical Society has opted for a jeep. \nThe parade has a new route this year.  We will be starting at Civic Center Park\, just behind City Hall. The park is between First Street on the north and Second Street on the south and Iglesia Street on the west. The best way in is off of Walnut\, which is just east of the park \nThe check-in time is 3:00pm and the parade will start at 4:00pm. The parade route runs from City Hall through the downtown\, about ½ mile.

DESCRIPTION:PVCA has been asked to supply convertibles and T-tops for the Miss Fontana and her Court and the Miss Teen Fontana and her Court.  We will need 11-12 cars for the girls. In addition various City and County VIPs often need a ride for the parade as well\, we may need from 1-8 cars requested for this function.  Also any club cars that have a fixed roof that can not come down or can not come off\, will be in the parade and will represent PVCA. \nAfter the parade we’ll plan lunch at Applebee’s in Fontana. \nThe parade starts at 10am \nWe’ll meet at Rotolo Chevrolet at 8:30am and head down to the starting line of the parade route at Sierra and Arrow HWY in Fontana at 8:45. \nPlease remember your parade stickers fo the side of your car (rear quarter panel)\, if you have them.  Also seat cushions\, towels or blankets for the girls or VIPs to sit on.

You will then proceed into the Fair grounds at noon and do a parade around the Fair.  Cars will then be parked in a roped off area and you are then free to stay at the Fair for as long a you want\, whether it be 5 minutes or the rest of the day. \n

SUMMARY:Fontana Days Parade
DESCRIPTION:The Fontana Days Parade has been moved up to May so there is no conflict with the 5K/10K run which is the first week of June. \nThe club is asked to supply convertibles and T-tops for the Miss Fontana and her Court and the Miss Teen Fontana and her Court.   We will need 11 or 12 cars for the girls.\nIn addition various City and County VIPs often need a ride for the parade we will have from 1 to 8 cars requested for this function.\nAny club cars that have a fixed roof that can not come down or can not come off\, will be in the parade and will represent PVCA. \nAfter the parade we’ll plan lunch at Applebee’s in Fontana.  On the other side of the 210 from Rotolo in the parking lot with Lowe’s. \nThe Parade starts at 10:00am \nWe’ll meet at Rotolo Chevrolet at 8:30am and head down to the starting line of the parade route at Sierra and Arrow Hwy in Fontana at 8:45. \nPlease remember your parade stickers for the side of your car (rear quarter panel)\, if you have them. Also seat cushions or towels for the girls or VIPs to sit on is a good idea.

SUMMARY:Fontana Christmas Parade
DESCRIPTION:Again we are asked to supply cars for Miss Fontana and her court to rind in during the parade.  The club has also provided cars to the various VIPs that are invited to the parade.   Normally they ask for abut 15 cars but in 2016 they used the 18 cars that we had at the parade.  All cars are welcome\, convertibles and t-tops will be used for the various riders. \nWe will will meet at Rotolo Chevrolet at 8:45 and head down to the parade via Sierra Ave to Arrow where we will stage and head down to the Parade a little before 9:00. \nWe’ll have lunch at a Applebee’s restaurant (at approximately 12:15) after the parade so please plan on joining us. \nIf it rains the girls or VIP will ride in the cars with the top up or on. \nIf you want to bring a toy in support of the Rotolo Toy drive for local Fontana Kids that is much appreciated. \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:We need four (4) cars for the Glendora Christmas Parade. The parade kicks off at 9 AM Saturday morning and we need to be lined up by 8:15 AM. We will meet at the Denny’s at Grand and the 210 Freeway at 7:45 AM and proceed to Glendora Avenue north of Foothill which is where the parade starts. This is another short parade and a lot of fun. SUMMARY:Charter Oak Holiday Parade
DESCRIPTION:Save the date:\nWe need thirteen (13) cars for the Charter Oak Holiday Parade. The parade starts at 6:00pm from Charter Oak Park in Covina which is located on Covina Blvd.\, between Bonnie Cove Ave. and Mangrove Ave. The parade is just over one mile in length and basically goes around the park and ends where we start. We can’t carry any passengers\, however\, should you wish to bring someone\, have them bring a chair and they can sit and wait for us to return. They want us to check in by 4:30pm so we need to meet at 4:00pm. We will meet in the parking lot of O’Reilly’s Auto Parts which is located at the corner of Arrow Hwy. and Sunflower Ave.\, just behind (and south) of the Shell gas station. There is an off-ramp for Sunflower on the 210 Freeway. Take the off-ramp and head south for approximately two miles. O’Reilly’s is on the west (right) side of the street. For those of you who would like to do a dinner\, we can head for Applebee’s in San Dimas following the parade.
