DESCRIPTION:Fontana Days Parade 2026 is sponsored by The Exchange Club of Fontana which is also proud to host the 113th Annual Fontana Days. \n \nThe 2026 Fontana Days Festival Theme is: “AMERICA 250 — HOME OF THE FREE\, BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE” which will take place on Saturday\, May 2nd at 10 a.m. on the corner of Sierra Avenue and Arrow Boulevard. \nThe parade heads south on Sierra Ave making a turn East on Orange Way\, North on Mango Ave\, West back on Arrow Blvd\, ending at Miller Park. \nPVCA has been asked to supply convertibles and removable roof cars for Miss Fontana and her Court and Miss Teen Fontana and her Court.  We need 10-12 cars for the girls. In addition\, various City and County VIPs often need a ride\, we typically need 1-8 cars for this function. (Up to 20 cars total.) Any club cars that have a fixed roof may participate in the parade if we have room\, and will represent PVCA. Please note in the comments if you car is fixed roof. \nThe parade starts at 10am\nWe’ll meet at Rotolo Chevrolet at 8:30am and head down to the starting line of the parade route at Sierra and Arrow HWY in Fontana at 8:45.\nYou will need Seat cushions and towels or blankets for the girls or VIPs to sit on.  PVCA will provide two 10” round white low-tac vinyl parade stickers for each car.\n\n\nFOLLOWING THE PARADE\, WE WILL DRIVE TO OGGI’S ON THE CORNER OF SIERRA AND HIGHLAND FOR LUNCH @ 11:30AM. MIKE CAPOSIO AND ROTOLO CHEVROLET ARE GRACIOUSLY PROVIDING LUNCH TO PARADE PARTICIPANTS(NO ALCOHOL).\n*IF YOU ARE JOINING US FOR LUNCH\, PLEASE INDICATE THAT IN THE COMMENTS SECTION. *

DESCRIPTION:PVCA has been asked to supply convertibles and T-tops for the Miss Fontana and her Court and the Miss Teen Fontana and her Court.  We will need 11-12 cars for the girls. In addition various City and County VIPs often need a ride for the parade as well\, we may need from 1-8 cars requested for this function.  Also any club cars that have a fixed roof that can not come down or can not come off\, will be in the parade and will represent PVCA. \nAfter the parade we’ll plan lunch at Applebee’s in Fontana. \nThe parade starts at 10am \nWe’ll meet at Rotolo Chevrolet at 8:30am and head down to the starting line of the parade route at Sierra and Arrow HWY in Fontana at 8:45. \nPlease remember your parade stickers fo the side of your car (rear quarter panel)\, if you have them.  Also seat cushions\, towels or blankets for the girls or VIPs to sit on.

DESCRIPTION:For those of you who would like to tour some of the wineries of Cambria and Paso Robles\, there will be a wine run Saturday\, November 10th.  We will meet in the motel parking lot at 10:00 am and hit the road shortly thereafter.  We will visit three wineries.  Two have been confirmed.  They are Chateau Margene (www.chateaumargene.com) and Tobin James (www.tobinjames.com).   You can check out their websites for more details.  Both of these are on the east side of Paso Robles and should be a lot of fun.   The third winery is a small\, family owned winery operated by good friends of John Schembari who is putting that one together.  We will have lunch in Paso Robles at the Firestone Taproom Restaurant.  Firestone Brewing makes the 805 brand of beer so those of you that prefer beer over wine\, here’s your chance.  Most wineries charge a tasting fee of about $20\, but couples can share a tasting and I recommend that approach.  For groups\, they like to have the fee paid upfront.  Once I have the amounts I will let you know and I will collect the fee before we leave the motel.   If you just want to go along for the ride\, you are more than welcome.

SUMMARY:The Painted Turtle - Pine Wood Derby Races for Hemophilia Kids
DESCRIPTION:Since 2004 PVCA has been supporting The Painted Turtle http://www.ThePaintedTurtle.org through various events from car shows to night at the races.   For the last few years the club has been helping with the pine wood derby races that the kids at camp have each year.   We have donated trophies and other items to the kids and the camp.   But the main event is we take anywhere from 10 to 12 cars up to the camp and have lunch with the kids and the counselors then we let the kids look at and sit in our cars.  And you can bet they all find the horn sooner or later. \nThis year the camp have asked us back to help again.   We will meet (place to be determined) about 9am then take the ride up to Lake Hughes area where the camp is located.   We’ll have lunch with the kids and enjoy their lunch time activities.    After lunch we’ll get a tour of the camp.  Then head over to our cars so we can open them up during the racing.  We’ll help do some judging of the best design\, etc. \nWe normally finish up about 3:30 and head home. \nPlease save the date and time \nPlease remember no pictures of the kids are allowed\, pictures of the camp and the grounds are permitted \n
