DESCRIPTION:Join us for a huge gathering of Corvettes\, in recent years this event has had well over 100 cars. \nCar Show Time is 9:00AM-11:00AM. To park together the group must be at the Marconi staging location in Tustin at 7:00AM. Tim T. is organizing this run. PVCA meeting place will be: Via Verde Corporate Plaza\, 160 Via Verde Drive\, San Dimas. Meet at 6:15AM for drive off by 6:25. \nBring you club radios. \nJan and Rich are planning a PVCA group lunch after the show. \nThe event is full and Marconi registration has closed. \n  \n\nNational Corvette Day Vehicle Registration\nSpectators will pay upon arrival at museum entrance\, online tickets are for Participants Only. Tickets are per person\, NOT per vehicle. Each attendee must have a ticket. Please select if you are bringing a passenger and an additional ticket(s) will be added to your transaction.  Each participant will receive a wristband once checked in on the day of the event. \nRegistration is closed. \n

SUMMARY:PAINTED TURTLE PINEWOOD DERBY DAY
DESCRIPTION:WEDNESDAY\, JULY 23\, 2025\n9:15 AM-5 PM\nLET’S SHOW OFF OUR CORVETTES AND ENJOY PINEWOOD DERBY RACES\n\nSince 2003 PVCA has supported The Painted Turtle in one way or the other. This year we have been asked to come up and help celebrate the Pinewood Derby races that are part of Hemophilia Week.\nThe folks at The Painted Turtle have invited the club to participant in this year’s pinewood derby races which are part of the camp’s Hemophilia Week.   This week kids with hemophilia and related blood disorders come together and enjoy a chance to be normal kids.\nDuring the week kids will be making their pinewood derby cars to race on the special racetrack set up in the gym on Wednesday.  The club will provide trophies for the winners of the race.  Of course\, the kids love to have us come out\, so they get a chance to see the Corvettes up close and even sit in them.  Of course\, it is always a guess as to how long it will be before one of the kids find the horn.\nOur plan is to meet at 9:15 at Logan’s Roadhouse at Baseline and the 15 Fwy. Driver meeting at 9:25. Leave 9:30\nFrom there we’ll head up the Fwy 15 then out across the desert (138) to Palmdale then out to the camp at Lake Hughes.   We’ll plan on arriving at the camp about 12:00\, we’ll get the cars parked and then go have lunch at 12:30 with the kids.  And sing along with the kids (singing is optional)\, a few of the camp songs that the kids have learned.   After lunch we’ll do a tour of the camp and then about 2:30 the kids will come down for the races.\nAfter we are all done\, we’ll find a place for dinner if you are up for some more fun with the group.\nSchedule of events for the day: \nDate: Wednesday\, July 23rd 12:30 – 4:30 PM \n\n12:30 PM – Lunch\n1:30 PM – Camp tour\, shirt distribution\, and car prep\n3:00 PM – Pinewood Derby Race begins!\n4:30 PM – End of derby and departure\n\nEveryone in the group will need to fill out our visitor release form before arrival. TPT does require that all Visitors are feeling well with no symptoms of illness and attest to having received the following immunizations: \n\nDTap or Tdap vaccine within the past 10 years\nMMR (2 doses)\nVarivax/Varicella (2 doses) or history of chicken pox disease
