DESCRIPTION:CANCELLED!\nUPDATE 12/31/25:\nEven though it may clear in time for the run\, I fear the overnight rain will leave the roads too wet for a safe run. \nIf the storm breaks up on the 1st we may do the run on Friday. I will put a placeholder on the calendar for anyone interested in going. \nPlease check here and your email for updates. \nIT’S TIME AGAIN FOR A HANGOVER RALLY!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAfter partying New Year’s Eve\, if you can make it out of bed\, join us for the 7th annual PVCA Hangover Rally.\nCharles and Karyn are looking forward to our 7th annual Hangover Rally. Have a full tank of gas and cameras ready for some beautiful views.\nBe sure your cell phone number is in your RSVP and watch your email for updates from info@pvca.org!\nGeneral information:  Run area TBD. We like to tour the Malibu Mountains but may have to go elsewhere depending on road conditions. Run distance TBD start to no-host lunch location\, total distance TBD miles round trip from startling point. Run time from start to lunch location ~4 hours (including stops). We will take rest stops every 60-90 minutes. Printed detailed route navigation directions will be provided at the driver’s meeting. Following the directions is not difficult and we will be in communication via the radios to alert for upcoming turns. You can certainly do it by yourself\, however a navigator can be helpful. \nWe will have contests for the following: (1) Total mileage to the closest tenth as recorded on the lead car’s odometer. (2) Lead car total elapsed time to the closest second from starting roll-out to parked at lunch location. PVCA members and guests may participate in the contest\, however only members will be eligible to win the prizes. \nBe sure to have your valid driver’s license\, car registration\, and current proof of insurance with you. \nAll participants must complete and sign the NCCC release waiver at the driver’s meeting: Adult Release and Waiver Form; Minor Release and Waiver (Parental Consent) Form \nGuidelines: This event is NOT timed or competitive. You are traveling on open public roads. As such\, you are responsible for following all traffic laws. Note that canyon roads may have debris\, rocks\, gravel\, dirt\, water\, bicycles\, motorcycles\, other cars\, pedestrians\, and local wildlife. Be courteous to slower traffic and give them a friendly wave. Drive safely and have fun! \nMembers bring your club radios\nGuests can use any GMRS radio with standard CTCSS privacy sub-codes. Channel and privacy code will be provided at the drivers meeting.\nMeeting location TBD based on route.\nTime: ~8:00AM meet\, ~8:15 drivers meeting\, and departure at ~8:30AM.
