USS IOWA, Harbor Cruise and Lunch

Thanks to Brent and Melonee they are planning a trip on November 4th to the USS IOWA for the club.   There will be a harbor cruise and lunch also.

Meet at 7:30 at the Costco parking lot, 4th Street and I-15, Ontario. We’ll caravan down. We’ll have a drivers meeting at 7:45 and head out at 8:00.

We should arrive at approximately 9:30-9:45 at the USS IOWA. The tour will being at approximately 10:00 am on November 4. It lasts approximately 1 1/2 – 2 hours. Cost is $13.50 per person (over 62 years young) or $16.50 if under 62.

If there are any issues with climbing stairs, etc., arrangements can be made. I would need to know ahead of time. Everyone will purchase their own tickets there. We will have a special area for our cars.

Lunch: Lunch will be at the Acapulco Restaurant, which is fairly close by. We will have a buffet lunch at approximately $20 per person.

Harbor Cruise: We will cruise the harbor after lunch, leaving from Ports of Call. Over 62 years young, the price will be $8. Under 62, $12. This is approximately 45 minute harbor tour, showing the outside of the USS Iowa from the water and other special spots within the harbor. Again, we’ll buy our own tickets when we arrive.
