SUMMARY:Angeles Crest Run and lunch at Newcomb's Ranch
DESCRIPTION:We will be going on a fun run hosted by Charles & Karyn Adamson up Angeles Crest Highway to Newcomb’s Ranch. Newcomb’s Ranch Inn was built in 1939; the Ranch has changed many times over the last several decades\, serving as a restaurant\, brothel\, hotel\, general store and gas station.  Much of the original two story structure was destroyed from a fire in 1976.  The building was rebuilt and opened as a restaurant for many years by Lynn Newcomb Jr. Today\, Newcomb’s Ranch is owned by Frederick H. Rundall\, a lover of nature with a passion for the mountains.  Many weekends you will find many car & motorcycle enthusiasts\, it looks to be a beautiful weekend so we are looking forward to a great run. Please check their website for their menu. www.newcombsranch.com \nWe will meet at the Sycamore Hills Plaza at 2209 Base Line in Upland by the Mod Pizza (we have met here before). 8:45am meeting time\, 9:00am drivers meeting and departure at 9:15. We will make a stop in La Canada for a bathroom break before we take the drive up Angeles Crest Hwy 2.  Please have your tanks full before we leave. \n
