Angeles Crest Run and lunch at Newcomb’s Ranch

We will be going on a fun run hosted by Charles & Karyn Adamson up Angeles Crest Highway to Newcomb’s Ranch. Newcomb’s Ranch Inn was built in 1939; the Ranch has changed many times over the last several decades, serving as a restaurant, brothel, hotel, general store and gas station.  Much of the original two story structure was destroyed from a fire in 1976.  The building was rebuilt and opened as a restaurant for many years by Lynn Newcomb Jr. Today, Newcomb’s Ranch is owned by Frederick H. Rundall, a lover of nature with a passion for the mountains.  Many weekends you will find many car & motorcycle enthusiasts, it looks to be a beautiful weekend so we are looking forward to a great run. We will meet at the Sycamore Hills Plaza at 2209 Base Line in Upland by the Mod Pizza (we have met here before). 8:45am meeting time, 9:00am drivers meeting and departure at 9:15. We will make a stop in La Canada for a bathroom break before we take the drive up Angeles Crest Hwy 2.  Please have your tanks full before we leave.
