Pomona Valley Corvette Association puts on an annual car show every Fall in
historic downtown Upland in southern California. This year the car show is in
October. Uplands entire historic downtown area is closed off to normal traffic.
Custom cars, Corvettes and trucks are displayed through out the closed off
Upland downtown area. Automotive related vendors are at the event displaying,
cars, and automotive related items.
Our 2008 car show will be held in Historic Downtown Upland, in Southern
California, on Saturday, October 11. The Pomona Valley Corvette Association
invites you to attend this fun-filled car show and help support our children�s
charities.
Although we had great weather in the past, we have moved the show back a month,
so we don�t have to worry about the overwhelming September heat that we had in
prior years. The theme will remain the same �An All American Car Show�.
Pomona Valley Corvette Association plans to have a live band again this year
playing good old fashion rock n roll, An area will be set aside for street
vendors with car related materials and accessories for the ladies. Local
merchants will be providing food and drinks during the day.
Trophies for both Hot Rod and Corvette classes will be done this year. With a
Best in show Hot Rod and Best in show Corvette also being awarded. One change
from prior years is that all Corvettes (NCCC members or not) will be judged
together.
Event t-shirts and one of the areas largest raffle drawing and 50/50 drawing
will be held. A silent auction for some of the special gifts will be held.
All proceeds from the 2007 car show went to our Kids Pack charity. No Pomona
Valley Corvette Association Member�s car will be competing for any trophies.
