The morning was cold and gloomy but fourteen sparkling Corvettes meet at the Marriot parking lot for an adventurous Saturday morning run.  Where are we going was the question of the morning, don't know, it's a mystery!

Before we even could get under way some repairs were needed as one of the C3's blew a heater hose.  as luck would have it the fix was quick and easy.

Our route would take us on a twisty open road out into the desert.  This would be a good chance to hone some driver skills.

As we wound our way past a few scattered ranches we found ourselves in the small community of Hesperia.

Duane and Joanna led us to a nice restaurant called the Road House Grill.

Lunch was good and the socializing was great.  The day was still cold and gloomy.  After lunch it was time to head home to warm up around the fire and have a cup of hot cocoa.
