It was a happening!

The above picture was taken late in the day and some of the cars had already left as it has been a long day, but I am jumping too far ahead, now for the beginning.

It's 6 AM and many members of PVCA are arriving at the ice hockey ring, excitement in the air.  This is PVCA's first event in many years and everyone is looking to make it a good one.

Our members have their cars lined up and are starting to set-up the registration table.  Several of the ladies set up a portable kitchen and began making breakfast burritos which were for sale  They also had muffins, orange juice and free hot coffee for all.

It is now around 7:30 AM and the cars are starting to arrive.  To view the remaining pictures please click on the little painted turtle below.

Randy Dimit and Dave Armas were the driving force behind this event with Randy never giving-up even when things looked dismal.  Randy kept things going on track and provided the focus to us all.  Shelley you were fantastic.  Brent, Elora, Duane and everyone that helped and you know who you are, thanks to you all for making the Pomona Valley Corvette Association such a great club.

Until next year...
