New Year’s Eve Party was the perfect transition to the Fiftieth Anniversary Celebrations of
Pomona Valley Corvette Association
A big thanks to Doug and Roxanne for hosting the New Year’s Eve party on December 31st in their beautifully decorated home. In addition to about 50 members of PVCA, other guests attending the festivities were Roddy, (Sheena’s brother), Rich and Arlene, (Glenda and Randy’s kids) and Debbie, a long time friend of many of us.
As per usual, the food was delicious, fellowship was endearing, and the weather was more than amazing! There were groups of folks just enjoying the evening and getting to know each other better. And then the competition began! RLC was the game of choice, and guess who won—yep, Glenda, Karen and Debbie. When asked what they were going to do with their loot—no contest—Shop!
Soon the count down began—18, 17, 16—-0 and the new year of 2012 rang out with funny hats, noise makers, poppers, raised champagne glasses, kisses and greetings of “Happy New Year”.
What a wonderful way to spend New Year’s Eve!

Little late on the thank you (I’m continually reminded that i’m getting older) but we had a great time and it was wonderful to see everybody!!
