Dan and Pat Esqueda, Jeff Butler and myself (Bob Freitas) went to the Gamblers Classic all Corvette meet in Laughlin Nevada this past weekend 4-20 thru 4-22. This was Jeff and myself’s 3 time and I believe the same for Dan and Pat.
We all had a good time with a banquet dinner Friday evening with 2 shows, a Hypnotist, and an Elvis impersonator. Saturday was a Show and Shine and a Poker Run to Oatman Arizona and then an awards ceremony that evening with drawings, 50/50 ($1000.00 to the winner) and the trophies.
After the awards Dan, Pat, Jeff and myself went to The Outback for a nice dinner. This big event was put on by Corvettes of Bakersfield and is a really good time, quite a few clubs were present. Somewhere between 250 and 300 Corvettes were present with only 1 car representing the C-1 class and the majority of cars were C-6s. I’ve attached some pix just use the link below.
