Just a quick heads up to all you race / rock - n - roll fans or as I like to call it "Race-N-Roll"!
I will be participating in the 2009 annual Johnny O'Connell Charity Auction which will be taking place
at the Petit Le Mans ALMS RACE at Road Atlanta in Braselton, Ga., on September 25. The proceeds from
this event will go to support the Alzheimers Association, and a senior citizen day care center in Gainesville.
This is truly a great event and tons of fun, as exclusive racing memorabilia, Corvette Racing related items,
and lots of stuff that's just plain cool will be offered!
This year I will be donating a Moser guitar, Nady amp, Nady 4 x 12 Cab, and some Jet Black posters, all of
which can be signed on request by myself and or the drivers and team members. Legendary Corvette Racer D
ick Guldstrand has asked me to represent him this year, offering some great items (all Guldstrand items
TBA prior to auction) including a one of a kind 5' x 7' Guldstrand banner!
Kicking off this years event will be a musical performance featuring Johnny's daughter, Kelly O'Connell.
Kelly and I will be performing a Taylor Swift song, which is sure to be a blast! Updates on items for
auction and ways to place bids will be posted as I receive them. See
