Performance Driving |
Listed are the different performance driving events that Pomona Valley Corvette
Association members participate at. There are three different kinds of events.
To be list on the page a PVCA member must place in the event for speed & time
events. For road track events the best time for each track for a given event.
For drag racing any one who does the 1/4 mile in less the 13 seconds. |

Twelve Second Cub |
The Twelve Second Cub is for Pomona Valley Corvette Association members that
have gone to the drag strip and achieved an elapsed time under 13 seconds.

Silver State Classic Challenge |
The Silver State Classic Challenge results are a list of Pomona Valley Corvette
Association members that have placed in one or more of the Silver State Classic
Challenge events. This is a target speed event, each driver selects a speed
class to race in from 95 MPH to unlimited speed and must average that speed over
a 90 mile route on a closed public highway. The event is permitted by the state
of Nevada and the Nevada Highway Patrol. Here is a link to the

MKM Racing |
The MKM Racing results are a list of Pomona Valley Corvette Association members
that have placed in one or more of the MKM Racing events events (Bonneville 100,
Pony Express, and Gamblers Run). These are target speed events, each driver
selects a speed class to race in from 85 MPH to unlimited speed and must average
that speed over a closed public highway. The event is permitted by the state of
Nevada and the Nevada Highway Patrol. Here is a link to the

Spring Mountain |
Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch has several different track configurations,
1.5, 2.2 and 3.1 mile long tracks. The road course keeps the car in constant
transition, it has
has several elevation changes
that total approximately 50 feet. The road course has a minimum track width of
37 feet. Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch is located in Pahrump, Nevada and
short distants from down town Las Vegas. More information is located on the
