6/1/2010 - Clubs first C6 ZR1 Brent and Marilyn bought a 2010 C6 ZR1 over the memorial weekend. The ZR1 is Jet Stream Blue. This is the FIRST C6 ZR1 in the club. Congratulations Brent and Marilyn.

12/14/2009 - Member of the year The 2009 Member of the Year award was presented to Paul Cope at the Annual Awards Banquet. Greg Powers was awarded the Piston Cup for 2009 Best Corvette Club Website. Car of the years was Daniel Rodriguez.

10/30/2009 - ByLaws update approved Paul Cope made a motion that the membership approve the revised Bylaws as proposed by the E-board. The membership voted to approve the Bylaws.

9/8/2009 - Caravan photos from the road Danny and Rosemary have been sending Photos from the 2009 Corvette Caravan as the trip progress. There are now over 140 photos posted.

8/12/2009 - New Meeting location At the 8/11/2009 general meeting the PVCA membership voted to change locations. PVCA will be hold general membership meeting at Garden Square starting 8/25/2009.

8/3/2009 - Change of Meeting place PVCA is testing new waters. The Aug 11, 2009 General meeting will be held at the Garden Square restaurant. Print a Map. Garden square is located 1401 Foothill Boulevard, at the corner of foothill and Wheeler.

7/15/2009 - Weddings Bells Kathy Edmonds and Jim Holloway announce their plans to marry in Hawaii at the 7/14/09 general club meeting. The ceremony will take place on the island of Kauai.

7/10/2009 - Cheerios race car Dan Butchers name is on the Cheerios race car! He entered their contest and was one of 3000 people whose names were chosen to be put on the car. He is right beside the left edge of the bottom on the heart heart above the BB&T logo. http://www.cheeriosracing.com

6/29/2009 - 1962 black Corvette Charlie Lipscomb unveiled his 1962 black Corvette. Charlie has spent the last year doing a frame off restoration of the first generation corvette. He won Best Corvette at the 6/27/09 Hibbard car show.

6/10/2009 - Gimmick Rallye this weekend Saturday June 13 is the day of the Gimmick Rallye. Registration starts at 7:00am at the Bass Pro Shop, Foothill and Interstate 15. This is a BIG NCCC event for NCCC points chasers.

5/13/2009 - Caravan Send off Party PVCA members voted on the final approval and budget for the National 2009 Corvette Caravan send off party. PVCA will be hosting a reception at the Marriott Hotel for the 2009 caravan participants leaving from the Southern California area.

4/27/2009 - Death Valley run breaks recordOvernight runs are usually not that big regarding car counts. The run to Death Valley, on April 25th, 2009 sets a new record. The official sign up count for the Death Valley and Furnace Creek run was 33 cars and 67 participants. That’s the largest overnight run to date.

3/20/2009 - New Grand Child Greg & Patty became Grandparents, again. This is number four. Cooper was born at Loma Linda University Hospital on Friday March 20th at 9:55am. Cooper was 7 pounds 1 ounce and 19 inches long. His mom is doing well.

3/10/2009 - New Track driver Cope conquers Spring Mountain Track, Over the weekend of March 7th & 8th, Sue Cope Braves the Race Track in a 2007 Corvette Z06. This was a first for Sue as she had never driver a stick shift before. It was also her first time driving on the Spring Mountain track. Way to go Sue.

2/24/2009 - Turtle Puck does forcast Steve Stevens announced that this prize pet tortoise, named Cucamonga Puck, emerged from his rock covered winter hideout. The tortoise bathed himself, for several hours, in the sun. Steve claims this means that warmer weather is on the horizon.

2/19/2009 - PVCA Does NASCAR Parade Brent Hicks, from PVCA, coordinates The Sprint Cup, Auto Club 500 drivers parade. In years past Chevrolet has supplied Chevy trucks. This Year Brent is getting 43 Corvettes to parade the driver around the track.

1/27/2009 - Gimmink Rallye for 2009 It was anounced that PVCA will have a Gimmick Rallye with 7 events. The Rallye will be on 6/13/2009 and open to the public. More information will be coming from our new Rallye Master. All 7 events are for NCCC points

1/1/2009 - 2009 Elected Officers It is official the new elected Club officers are: Charles Lipscomb, President; Phil Caughey, Vice President; Celeste Hill, Treasurer; Jim Prunty, Secretary; Steven Stevens, Activities; Kathy Edmonds, Membership; and Ron Zurek, NCCC Governor. Congratulation to all the new officers.
