Pomona Valley Corvette Association is hosting the 2009 Corvette Caravan send off for Southern California. Activates are being planned for Friday August 28, 2009. The Southern California Corvette Caravan is leaving Saturday morning, August 29, 2008.

Back in 2003 Pomona Valley Corvette Association also hosted the Corvette Caravan send off with a reception at a local hotel and staging the Corvettes at Fontana Speedway for their send off.

"Commander" Brent Hicks

Hicks will be involved with SoCalCar promotional and sponsorship acquisition efforts for the 2009 National Corvette Caravan. Brent is an '09 SoCalCar Special Start-Up Sponsor. He also drove in the 2003 National Corvette Caravan.

Brent joined Pomona Valley Corvette association in late 2002. At that time he had just purchased a 2003 ZO6. Today Brent owns a 2003 anniversary edition convertible , a 1992 ZR1 and a 2007 Z06.
